Nez Danguilan, founder of the organization, hosts the show. Fil-Am Showtime Inc., founded in 1994 is a non-profit organization. The mission of Fil-Am Showtime is twofold; to provide Pacific Rim Filipino American youth a sense of pride in who they are in their diverse ethnic heritage and to provide them with experience beyond what they may encounter at home or school. The program encourages and nurtures those first steps towards discovery of self, local and global communities. Also featured are local newscasters " Sherill Lumba; Philippine newscaster, Benjo Holganza, Local newscaster, and Andrew Taylor for Special News.
